We've ordered snow (in fact we'll be making snow!), clear and sunny skies and no wind for our third annual WinterFest organized by the Chamber, Friends of Amherst Recreation, and Amherst LSSE. It's going to be another great day for the WHOLE family.

Just a snippet of what's happening:

Nick Seamon and the Black Sheep have thrown down the gauntlet, promising that they will again take the Chili Challenge crown in 2010. 2008 winners Atkins promises to come back with some fire and their three-alarm chili, too!

And that's not all! There will be sledding for the family, the Orange Ball Long Drive Contest, Cross Country Skiing, Sleigh Rides, the Snow Sculpture Contest, Fireworks, and the return of the always popular . . .

Cardboard Classic!!!

Admission is $8 for adults; $5 for kids; and $20 for the family.
