Amherst Community Market's second community interest meeting will take place on Thursday July 19th, from 7 - 9 pm in the Town Room at Amherst Town Hall.
Amherst Community Market is a start-up food co-op whose mission is to increase Amherst's access to wholesome foods. ACM is a hybrid worker- and consumer-owned cooperative, meaning that ownership and decision-making is shared by workers and consumers. ACM will not only strive to increase food access, but will provide meaningful employment for members of our community.
The purpose of the meeting will be to update the community on our progress since our last meeting, and to outline the next steps to a food co-op for our town.
