How to Enter

THERE'S 2 WAYS TO PLAY THE CONTEST: The first way to enter for a chance at winning the prizes worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars is to shop at any locally owned, independent business in the Pioneer Valley for anything Christmas/Holiday presents, groceries, movie tickets, going out to dinner, etc... and save your receipts from each different locally owned business here in the Pioneer Valley you make a purchase from during the time frame of the contest Saturday November 17th through December 31, 2007.

To win any of the top 5 Prizes below, the idea is that you will have shopped at more different local businesses here in the Pioneer Valley than everyone else playing the contest. For all of the local businesses you shop at please only send in one receipt per business, so instead of last year's contest where one of the prize categories was just having the highest number of receipts; this year the only Prize Category is the highest number of receipts from the most different businesses.

The most receipts from different businesses by an individual/family
1st Place - $950 worth of gift certificates

2nd Place - $750

3rd Place - $500

4th Place - $400

5th Place - $300

2. The second way to win is to go to the businesses listed below and after shopping, fill out a Think Local First Contest Entry Card and leave it with the cashier. We will have an event in February 2008 to give out all the prizes and this is where the drawing will take place to determine the winners. Note filling out theses entry cards does not in and of itself put you in the running for the 5 top prizes. The businesses that have the enrty cards to fill out are:
