Official Think Local First Contest Rules

1. Contest participants are not eligible to win more than one prize.

2. Receipt contest. Each physical receipt is counted once regardless of the value of the services/merchandise purchased. To participate in the most receipts from the most different businesses contest you must mail in your receipts.

3. Completed Think Local First Contest Entry forms are for the drawing only and not counted as part of the receipt contest. The drawing will take place at an event in February 2008.

4. The prize values are based on a count of the gift certificates donated and may not be exact.

5. All receipts must be from locally owned, independent businesses within the three counties of the Pioneer Valley.

6. PV BALLE defines local as a business where the owner lives roughly within 50 miles of the Pioneer Valley.

7. Receipts must be from shopping done between 11/17/07 to 12/31/07.

8. Your envelope of receipts must be postmarked by 1/20/2008.

9. All decisions of the judges are final.

10. Most of all, have fun and please feel good that your community is benefitting by your choosing to shop with local businesses, especially so when those businesses make and sell products that come from right here in our own backyard. So search out some local stores you've never been in, see what good stuff they have, ask to meet the owner, and say hello.
