The Turkish Kitchen is a small, artisanal food producer located in Ashfield - a beautiful village at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts. Additionally, we have a sister business called Dew Green Farm, where we grow much of the meat, eggs, dairy products and some of the vegetables that I use in my delicious recipes. We offer prepared foods, catering and home delivered dinners as well as packaged soup and pilaf mixes you can make at home.
The Turkish Kitchen is known in the local community as the people who make the outrageously rich-flavored caramelized onion and lentil pies, the hazelnut and cornmeal halwa that takes one to 7th heaven, the rose water lemonade that explodes with the fragrance of old roses, the tangy, herb-y, yogurt-y tarhana (a probiotic food from the 10th century), and the rice, vegetable and meat dishes that just make one go "yummm... mm".
Do take a tour of our products. You can order directly from us and/or find our products at area stores.
You can also find our Mercimek soup mixes (regular and gluten-free); Tarhana mix, a complete meal that features a 10th Century dehydrated mix; Caramelized Onion and Lentil Pie from the southern Aegean region; the famous Corn and Hazelnut Halva of the Black Sea region; and the beloved Salty Cookies of every Turkish household at:
- the All Things Local Store in Amherst,
- Green Fields Market in Greenfield,

So... we've grown, to our delight and -- frankly -- amazement. Growing means that more people enjoy our wholesome products. From the start, we saw feeding people as a sacred responsibility, so we always strive for perfection, and finish each product or dish with blessings for the health of those who will eat it. We believe these prayers are part of the "yummm.. mm" as much as the care we put into each dish.
Let us serve you our delicious offerings with love!
