Our mission is to find, roast and serve the finest coffee possible. The quality of Rao's coffee is the result of many years of innovative roasting, creative experimentation and constant sampling to create the right beans for the right brew. Rao's Coffee continually evolves its methods to achieve coffees of high quality and rich, layered flavors. This approach takes considerably more time and work than merely sticking to one successful formula. The results speak for themselves, and we are proud that this approach has created a culture and following around our high-end coffees.

The Rao's Café -with free wifi- on Kellogg Street in Amherst brews an impressive verity of its own fresh and finely roasted coffee. Be sure to look for espresso and espresso based drinks, including Rao's signature leaf, artistically created atop lattes. In addition to a full selection of coffee, tea, milk and juice based drinks, the café is home to three pastry cases, filled with muffins and scones, cookies, granola bars, gourmet pastries, sandwiches and salads. The ample seating, including the original café, its expanded dining room and the largest amount of outdoor tables in the area all cater to a relaxing social experience. The cafe is open to 11pm 7 days a week. Rao's proudly opened another store in the library of Mount Holyoke College, last year.
