Hickory Dell is a flower farm, gardening store and gift shop located on 70 beautiful acres in Northampton, MA, just 5 miles from downtown. We grow distinctive plants for your gardens and containers, and create original hanging baskets and planters. We also offer cut flowers, fall ornamentals and Christmas trees and greens. Be sure to stop into our shop, where we have a wonderful selection of garden goods, toys, home decor, gifts, personal adornments, and delicious local food. Our friendly llama herd always welcomes you!

Hickory Dell has been in the Omasta family for three generations. In the 1930s, Paul Omasta, who emigrated from Slovakia earlier in the century, purchased the land as a homestead for his growing family. Over the next 50 years, Paul and his three sons and their families continued to work the land, growing a variety of crops and raising beef cattle. Since 1980, the farm has been owned and managed by grandson, John Omasta.
