With our soft yellow walls & wooden shelves, the careful selection of every product we carry and our expert, friendly staff, you can rest assured that you are in a wonderful place.

We rarely think of ourselves as a retail store. Our mission is to be a resource for parents and children in the pursuit of natural parenting, age-appropriate development and exploratory play by providing classic, high-quality goods and services. Through our hands-on customer service, knowledgeable staff and educational workshops, A Child’s Garden has become an important community source for cloth diapering, babywearing, breastfeeding, children’s literature and natural, open-ended toys.

Our staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the products we sell, and we have a thorough understanding of childhood developmental theory. We can answer questions and provide guidance about materials used, country of manufacture, and developmental appropriateness. If we can't answer your questions, we'll point you in the direction of someone who can.
