Since 1997, the Amherst Brewing Company has been a full-service brewpub located in Amherst, Massachusetts. Our 10-Barrel brewery is visible from the bar and produces some of the finest award winning ales and lagers for serving in our 150-seat restaurant and 100-seat lounge and game room. Brewery tours can be made by appointment. Our giant, brass-top bar seats over 30 people and is fully stocked, including Single Malt Scotches and Small Batch Bourbons.

Our most recent and biggest move was to 10 University Drive, which was formerly occupied by Gold's Gym, and before that, a supermarket. The space offers a roomy interior--which is ideal for family dining, watching sports, and hosting events--high ceilings, more space to brew, and a substantial outdoor patio for warm weather dining.

There is ample, free parking in the front lot--a definite perk for anyone who struggled to find parking in downtown Amherst in the past! The highlight of the new venue is a 100-foot, copper top bar with a unique leaf pattern and front molding crafted from African Sapele wood. We know this eye-catching addition will quickly become a favorite among regulars and new customers alike. The University Drive location gives us the chance to serve our loyal customers even better, offering you more beer, more seating, free parking, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere you have always appreciated--all in a brand new space.

Our menu ranges from traditional pub fare; fish & chips, burgers, homemade soups and entrees to the unusual; fried pickles, monster pretzels and fried oreo sundaes. We have plenty for vegetarians, too. A lot of our menu items are homemade. Whenever possible, we support local butchers and farmers.
