Starting September 15th, Pioneer Valley Local First will be launching a new monthly business networking event called "Local Thirst." The event will move around the three counties of the Pioneer Valley and will be on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:00 to 7pm. Please see Our Calendar to see what local restaurant or bar the event will be at.
While anyone is welcome to attend, the idea of Local Thirst is to bring together our membership so we can all begin to better know each other. Hopefully all of us being better connected can also have the added benefit of having more business take place among you, our members.
As for where we will have the Local Thirst events, priority will be given to members of PVLF, especially to ones that support local farmers if they serve food and/or make their own soda, beer, or serve drink from local breweries or meaderies, such as Green River Ambrosia.
Some months there maybe a program or guest speaker, but most often it will just be good people getting together over food and drink to talk about our lives and businesses.
We are planning on having this be a free event, but some venues may want to charge a nominal fee to cover any food that they might put out.
We hope you will join us!
