- Promotion of your business through your own page on pvlocalfirst.org with a link to your business's website. and a rotating banner of your business on our home page. We are also looking into incorporating a video interview with the owner.
- Inclusion in our 2nd Pioneer Valley Buy Local Directory when it comes out in the fall/winter 2010/2011. 20,000 or so copies will be printed and widely distributed through out Western Mass.
- Members receive 10% discount off of group advertising rates compared to basic members.
- Pioneer Valley Local First Member decal for your store front window(s).
- Free hard cover copy of Michael Shuman's book The Small Mart Revolution How Local Businesses Are Beating the Global Competition to all new business members. While Supplies last.
- By request, we will provide support to your businesses in development of Action Plans to make positive changes to benefit our local economy, community, and/or environment, such as: assistance to do more local purchasing; set up recycling/composting programs; and/or work with the Center for Ecological Technology (CET) or Coop Power to purchase green electricity or bio-fuels.
- Discounts to paid Pioneer Valley Local First Events.
- Positive PR for your business through cause related marketing.
- Participation and exposure in our annual Local First Campaign.
- Increase your sales and market share through educating the public about the economic, ecological and community benefits of shopping locally.
- Potential media exposure for your business or organization.
- Promote local governments, colleges, universities, and non-profits to increase their purchasing from local, independent businesses. To increase local business -to -business purchasing as well.
- Last, but not least, we will all share in a higher quality of life and greater degrees of financial success for the Pioneer Valley, both north and south when all of us -business owners, customers, students, employees, neighbors- think first of the local economy and increase our purchasing from locally owned, independent businesses.

Again, we strongly believe that if all of us-business owners, customers, students, employees, and neighbors- think first of the local economy in our purchases, we will all share in the benefits of a higher-quality of life and commensurate financial success in the Pioneer Valley. Only passionate involvement in the local economy will produce this reward!

4. Knowledge that you are benefitting your community.
5. Your donation is tax-deductible.
Cost: $25/year, $15/year for students/lower income individuals to become an Individual Supporter. Please note, financial donations at any level are greatly appreciated.
